Tough weekend in Arco GP
After a succesfull Swiss GP both Raf Meuwissen and Petr Polak travelled to Italy for the next GP.
The preperation for the GP had been difficult for Petr, with him being sick during the week. Still it was decided to race at Arco, and although it was tough for the young Czech rider he again showed he has the speed for points. Unfortunately Petr was involved in startcrashes in all 3 of his races. As a result he DNFed in moto 1 without completing a lap, and in moto 2 he had to start all the way back in 31st. He fought his way back to 21st, one position out of the points.
Raf was struggling on saturday with the effects of the illness he had a few weeks before, and as a result it was decided after Saturday that Raf was not fit to ride on Sunday. He will ride at the Dutch Masters in Markelo next weekend.
