Petr Polak signs with Young Motion powered by Resa for World Championship MX2!
Young Motion powered by Resa team signed a deal with Petr Polak (21) for the MX2 Grand Prix season. With the Czech, who has raced 60 Grand Prix, the team signs an experienced rider next to MX2 rookie Raf Meuwissen.
Petr Polak: “After an early end of the ’22 season due to a knee injury I am now ready for a new chapter! A new team, but back on the Yamaha which has given me good experiences in the past. Due to the MX2 age limit I have two years left in the class and I am looking forward to turn my experience into great results. At the moment I am still fully in rehab, but I expect to be healthy and in good shape at the start of the season.”
Ron aan de Stegge – team owner: “As a relatively new team in MX2 we were looking for a team line-up with talent and experience. Petr has been in GP’s for years and is a perfect fit for what we are looking for. Since the first contact, we have had a great collaboration and it makes us very happy to have signed Petr for the 2023 season!”
In the spring of 2023, Polak and Meuwissen will be at the startgate for the first time in the colors of Young Motion powered by Resa.
